The source clone tape is always mounted in any available
drive(same type) from the host that is specified in
read hostname field of the jukebox definition :

from nsr_jukebox man page :

 read hostname (read/write, single string)
The hostname that is used in selecting a storage node for recover and
read-side clone requests. For recover requests, if the required
volume is
not mounted, and the client's "storage nodes" attribute does not match
one
of the owning hosts in the jukebox, then this attribute is used. For
clone
requests, if the required volume is not mounted, then this attribute
is
  used.

Your workaround is to mount manually the tape(s) you want to
clone to your favourite device before calling nsr_clone cmd.

Subject: [Networker] What tapedrive is used as input for cloning

I have not found any possibility to specify myself which tapedrive will
be
used as input tapedrive for cloning purposes.
I have a Networker configuration with several dedicated storagenodes.
As it turns out, my input tapes, no matter on which system they are
written
(server or ded. storagenode) are always mounted on a unix storagenode.
The result is, that all clones are performed using the network.

Does anyone know how to specify the input tapedrive to use?

Regards,
Hans
