I called the 1-800-782-4362 (EMC corp support #) hit option 6 for
PowerLink issue.
Then you have a choice of hitting Option 1 (trouble with web interface)
or 2 Other.
I hit 1 first call, was on speakerphone in the Que for ONE HOUR and
still no one answered.
I called back hit 2, within TWO MINUTES someone picked up asking me for
my EMC Badge #.
When they found out I was a customer he gave me the pre-canned answer:
Please re-register. I said I already have re-registered like 6 times. He
said "sir we are all having the same problems".
My thought is someone needs to figure out what the solution is instead
telling me to re-register. I can understand doing that once or twice but
re-registering for the 7th time is CRAZY!
HIRE A SPECIALIST TO FIX YOUR PROBLEM EMC.
HECK go back to the solution LEGATO was using at least it worked... Well
mostly.
I hope EMC never takes the 1-877-Legato-7 tech support desk from us.
Holy Carp that would be horrid.
Stepping down off the soapbox. Night... /ALE
