Hi List,

Greetings!

We are backing up a Windows 2000 server which is a virtual server on VMware
setup. NetWorker 7.2.1 on SUN Solaris backs this client up over LAN and we
observe the throughput most of the times is in kb's and 1.5mb/s max and
takes 4 days to complete a 'full' of 400GB volume.
We have similar server (hosted with same amount of resources - RAM,
Processors etc. on VMware) backing up with much better throughput.

Are there any ways I can get better throughput in such situations? I have
done few fine tuning methods which seems to have no effect on this behavior.
Also is there anyway by which I can check start and end time for each
volumes, by which I can compare and find out if the problem exists backup of
only this perticular volume of the client.

TIA, Shyam.
:)
