one thing you'll have to do in addition is recreate all the tape devices
and the autochanger config, because you will have different scsi
identifiers for sure.

otherwise it can be done like that - i went from solaris 8 to solaris 9
in much the same way.

I would advise doing a simple tar backup of /nsr/mm and /nsr/res before
bringing NW up for the first time on the new box so you can roll back if
needed.
