For us, clients from 6.1.3 and up work with 7.2.2 with no problems.

It's been my experience, at least with older releases like NetWorker
6.x, that clients seem to work OK even when at older releases than the
server and even when at newer releases, but that was from a mechanics
point of view and had nothing to do with security.
