Apparently, it means nothing. The drive continues to function normally after that. Weird. Can't find any related cores either, so I guess it isn't a process crash either..? Oh well.

Did the restore actually complete? I would guess this is just poor wording in the logs to indicate the device refused to retrieve the requested files because the user 'root' wasn't allowed to access it.
