All,

I would gladly use an older version of the software, but I only have an
evaluation copy of the new release. If someone knows of a method to get
the older software please let me know.

I am interested in all suggestions on how to recover the data from these
tapes.

Thanks,
Jim Carlson

If you are restoring historical backups written with an old version of
NetWorker, presumably for a good business reason, is it a good time to
be struggling with new features from a bleeding-edge version of the
software that not many users know anything about? Most people here are
not even familiar with the GUI in 7.3. You would be much better advised
to use a tried and tested version without these new authentication
issues, and if you still have problems there are plenty people on this
list with the experience to help you. Try 7.2.1 or 7.2.2.
