Hello Stan,

You are actually looking for the Virtual Server name -- a proper noun.

Look in Cluster Administrator, under Groups. A Virtual Server is a special type of Group that has settings appropriate for the Exchange Environment. Once you select a Virtual Server under Groups, the right side pane of the view will include many of the Virtual Server attributes, e.g. "Exchange HTTP Virtual Server Instance - (NORTHPOLE)" where the name in parentheses will be
the Virtual Server again.

You can also find references to Virtual Servers in the event log at Exchange startup time (even on a non-cluster, where the Virtual Server name is the
local system name).

Thanks Scott. I have the name in correctly now.

I am getting further. I can now back up MSEXCH:IS, MSEXCH:, and MSEXCH:PF but not MSEXCH:MB. I guessed at the BIOS name and my guess appears accurate. I think I might have some sort of permssions
error, but I am not sure.

The unsuccessful portion of the latest savegroup report says ...
