Hi,

Some of the funny behavior that I have experienced is not listed here.

I still hope it would resolve most of the problems. Has anyone actually used
the Jumbo Patch till now.

I'd call it a new build of 7.3 though. Haven't tried it myself yet, but 
the list of bugs fixed seems to adress some of the problems we've been 
experiencing (from the README):

This README describes the contents of the NetWorker
packages released under LGTpa87661.

Installing the NetWorker 7.3 Jumbo Patch Packages
-------------------------------------------------
Applying these packages requires a full installation of
the NetWorker software. For instructions on uninstalling
and installing NetWorker software refer to the NetWorker
installation guide appropriate for your operating system.

To install the package:

1. Save a backup of the configuration files in the nsr/res
        directory.
2. Uninstall the current NetWorker packages.
3. Install the new NwtWorker 7.3 Jumbo Patch package.

Note: On Microsoft Windows, to install this NetWorker package,
run the setup.exe program and follow the instructions on the
screen.

Once you install this package, the NetWorker product version
shows: nw_7_3_Jumbo.Build.8.
