I get that also on AIX 5.2. It still scares me sometimes, but everything
works. I sure wish Legato would make it say "physical end of tape has been
reached" like it does for Windows tape drives...

Subject: [Networker] AIX 5.3 Storage Nodes

Environment:
        Host - Win2K3, Networker 7.2.1
Storage Nodes - AIX 5.3, Fiber Channel
        Library, IBM 3584 LTO-1

Every time the tape fills up, I get a ...'No such device or address, at
file xxx.....' message in the daemon log. Every time, and only when
tape gets full.

Legato is perplexed, but suggests it is a benign error, since it does not
appear to cause restores to fail. They suggest I upgrade the AIX to 7.2.2,
which I plan to do soon.

AIX has the latest driver on it from IBM.
