[Networker] Balancing load between storage nodes
2006-05-09 09:05:27
If the Clients have already been configured properly, i,e only keep
storagenode name in preferences, or aleast first on the list.
Try, placing all localy defined drives in service mode temporarily, this
would force the use of drives on the storage node.
make sure the drivers on storage node are properly loaded, try MT cmd to
verify drive funtionality on the storagenode.
Also, during jbconfig, take a look at your output and see if you had
defined the sn correctly, i.e Dedicated=no if you want to backup other
networker clients and load balance and Dedicated sn=yes if otherwise, it
will also depend on licences you have purchased, by the way check your
licences also.
