Hi,

Most of the time this kind of problemo are encountered because of issues
with name resolution (check for both forward and reverse dns lookup between
NetWorker server and NetWorker client). If required have 'hosts' file
edited!

Is this happening for only 1 drive? (D:) or for that perticular host in
general.
Did you check if  manual backup (save command, or winworkr - networker user
GUI) is a success.

This is a very common problem in new install of NetWorker...

       NW7.2.1 running on Solaris 10
Clients
       Windows 2003, Windows 2000

On a particular drive we get
       [server name]:D:\ 1 retry attempted
       [server name]:D:\ save: RPC error: Unable to send
       [server name]:D:\ aborted due to inactivity


Any clues?
