Recoveries can be done the networker server. If unix run the nwrecover
from the networker server. Change client to your NDMP client. Select
what you want to recover and change location to the alternate volume.
You can recover using CLI. The syntax would be

nsrndmp_recover -c netapp -m /vol/vol1/rstore/request1 -S SSID

Subject: [Networker] recovering NDMP backup data

Hi All,

Can anybody help me for the below,

I want to recover NDMP backup (browsable) of my NetApp filer (source -
 /vol/vol1/usrdata) to a alternate directory /vol/vol1/rstore/request1.
My filer name is nfiler.xxx.com.
(NetWorker 7.1 version)

1. Can i do this using NWRECOVER - directed recovery from my backup
server on Solaris, or winworkr utility from my Windows networker client.

2. What will be the syntax for CLI 'recover' (browsable) in this case

Thanks in advance and Best Regards
Shyam
