Hello,
I guess moral of the story is you need to test the Tape libirary 
compatibilty before going to DR test, some lib let you modify the logical 
lib attributes which some other tester might have set it to suite for 
themself and may not be what you want, i know Adici2K has features that 
could make the tape lable read
1000100L1
or 
100100 
so it's how you set this options and attributes of the tape lib and 
incompatibility can crip in.
Document each option of the lib that is set in production enviroment and 
then use that as your guide.
