Hello all,
Very shortly I am going to begin work for a client backing up their MS exchange
information stores. The databases top out at about 30GB per server, and they
have 27 servers they want backed up.

They want the information stores backed up full everynight. I will keep them on
disk for a week, then after that they will be staged to tape.

I want to create new volumes and pool them together strictly for these servers.
Is there any sort of formula or rule of thumb that I can use to estimate the
amount of disk space I will need to accomodate this scenario?

I know that 30GB X 27 = 810GB per day, and 5670GB per week.

I am trying to avoid having disks fill up and the backups just hanging.

Thanks
