I'm betting it's the index data for the client which is going to the
default pool.

I assume you mean the expiration date on specific volumes in the pool,
not the pool itself.

You can inspect the volume and look at the individual savesets.  Find
which ones are causing the issue.  Presumably there will be a small
number with 10 year retention times.

For one of the volumes with the unexpectedly long retention, what does
this show? (replace VOLUME with the name of your volume).

mminfo -q 'volume=VOLUME,ssretent>01/01/2007' -r
'client,savetime,ssretent,group,level,name'
