This is EXACTLY my config :)..and ive been living with it for close to 3 years.
And ive NEVER had to call a service techie.
My procedure is this
1) Use the panel to set the box offline
2) unlock and open the ADIC 100
3) Remove the Tape magazines
4) eject any tape in the drive
5) insert new magazines
6) close and lock the ADIC 100
7) Put the adic online through the panel
8) wait until the ADIC is finished with it's checks
9) on the controlling server I enter 'nsrjb -Hv' and then 'nsrjb -Iv'
(Hardware reset and Inventory scan)
10) I start up the main networker application and go Media->Inventory (all
slots)
Finished, it's now ready to rock'n roll.
And if you want to buy reasonably priced ADIC accessories, try Ebay , Ive
bought a couple of things there for my
ADIC.
Good luck man :D
