I've been told that situations like using a 7.1.3 client with a 7.1.2
server is ok because they are both 7.1.x (or maybe it was two versions
of 6.1.x?).

Having a 7.3 client with a 7.1.4 server is a different situation.

I have been told by Legato support to use a newer version of the client
before. It was either 7.1.2 or 7.1.3 client they told me to use with a
7.1.1 server...

Nope. You never want to have a client running a newer NetWorker version
than the NetWorker server, even if it seems to work.

Hi,

is it okay when I backup a NW 7.3 client with a 7.1.4 server?
