Hi Vernon

Thanks for providing these hints! I hadn't tried to configure our ACSLS
environment on Solaris, but am doing that now. Running mini_el and ssi made
all the difference; now, jbconfig does connect to the ACSLS server and
configuration proceeds at least to the prompt to enter the local device
configuration file name.

At what point does jbconfig hang in your environment?

Also, I find I need to start these two commands:
mini_el &
ssi -A {ACSLS host name or IP address} &

Anyone have suggestions on the best places to put these commands in a
Solaris (or, in general, UNIX/Linux) environment?

Thanks!

Hi all,

Thanks Dale Mayes, I found out about configuring
mini_el and ssi in order to connect to the acsls
server. We have configured and started these
processes.

Now when we run jbconfig to configure acsls, jbconfig
hangs. Has anyone seen this behavior before. We are
running 7.2 networker and 7.1 acsls.

Thanks
