Hi all,
I'm testing the recovery of data backed up from a Windows share (via UNC
path); backup itsself is not a problem, but when trying to recover to the
Windows share, the following happens (relocation to a local disk is ok):
The requested directory structure is created on the target, but files are
not written with "unknown error"; sysinternal's filemon (on the target)
tells me it's an ACCESS DENIED problem;
I've tried to recover by the nwrecover gui and the commandline, with the
networker service running as system account or as a domain admin, with and
without entries in the client resource's remote acces and/or remote user
fields, (although I am sure this doesn't mean anything here) etc.
Yes, I've read the postings on backing up CIFS shares, but didn't find an
answer to that problem.
Networker version is 7.1.2, server is Solaris 9.
Do I misunderstand something?
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Ingo
