Just checked,
and sorry to say: We are both wrong.

Check out the help for "server setup" and look for
"SS cutoff size" and you will see that the continuation savesets
were skipped in version 6.x ->.
Not 5.x as I suggested...Must be getting old ;-)

But you should definitely not see them with a v6.x or v7.x client.
If you do you might have double client installations on your client,
this was easy enough to do on Windows as the default path was changed
about the same time.
