I've talked to Legato about this last year. They said this is only
available for VMS backups.

Subject: [Networker] Legato and Archive Bit

Hi,

We have Legato Networker 7.1 backing up a Windows 2000 Server. We would
like it so that the archive bit is not set on the Server files after a
backup. So effectively Networker would do a full backup each day. The
reason is we have files on the server that we don't want the time stamp
to change on them.

We've tried setting the system environmental variable :
nsr_avoid_archive=yes, rebooted as recommended, but that doesn't seem to
work. Anti-virus is switched off. Networker Change Log is switched off.

Does anyome know a solution to this problem? Or is this Networker
operating as expected.

Thanks, Terry.
