Re: [Networker] Barcode labels?

Hi George
We've used the UK arm of this lot...
http://www.netclabels.com/site/home.php
Definitely not cheap (we only went for the greyscale version - yes, you pay
more for colour!!), but not had any problems with either the software or the
media provided.
You can download a trial of the software to see if it does all you want.

We would like to be able to generate our own bar code labels. We use
both LTO 1 and SDLT 1 and SDLT 2 media. I read some of the earlier
postings regarding the source for LTO 2 bar codes, but one issue that
seems unclear is that the software needs to be able to also supply the
L1 identifier on the end of the bar code in the case of LTO 1, and also
a special identifier is now needed for SDLT 2.
Also, what about the paper? We can't just print these out on normal
paper. The LTO bar codes need to be adhesive, and the SDLT needs to be
that thin cardboard, slide style. I can't imagine cutting those out, so
I would surmise they would need to be perforated for SDLT style and
adhesive gum labels for LTO. Where do you all buy your labels or special
paper from? Is your source different from your software?
Thanks.
