Fellow Networker Admins,
I need your advise, comment or suggestions regarding a device/appliance which
will be used primarily for our disk based backup solution.
We got about 13 device/appliance from different vendors with a mix of SCSI,
iSCSI and Fiber and so far we have decided to narrow it down to just consider
the iSCSI. The minimum storage is at least 3 TB with RAID 5 and as always, need
to be expandable (within the box) for future growth.
Here is our environment:
Backup Server: DELL PowerEdge 2850 with 4 GB RAM on Red Hat ES3 O/S platform.
Storage: ADIC Scalar 100 with 2xLTO-2 tape drives.
