You shouldn't be trying to start nsrindexd manually anyway.  At most,
you can start 'nsrd' and it will kick off all the others (well, except
for nsrexecd and the license daemon).

If 'nsrindexd' doesn't run after that then I'd bet nsrd would die.  I
would look at the daemon.log file and see what it contains for that
time.
