Hi Librado

What you're seeing is not a bug, but is a limitation of the current
NetWorker product. While you can have multiple current backup streams to an
advanced file type device, you can have only one restore or one clone or one
stage at a time.

Subject: [Networker] Advance File Type question

Good morning to all,

We are currently using DBO and setup our device as advance file type so that
we can restore while cloning data to tapes. We are successful in restoring
data/files from the 'Read Only' device while cloning, but not sure if this
is a problem or just a configuration issue, we are not able to do multiple
restores using this device. It keeps on saying 'device is busy' and waits
till the first one/restore is done, before it starts reading again.

Our environment:
Legato NetWorker v7.1.3 on Red Hat Linux ES3

thanks in advance,
