Ian,
As you said, this is unsupported...
You can however:
1a. Unload tapes from all drives.
1b. Shutdown Networker on Tru64.
2. Copy the /nsr directory over to AIX.
    Be careful, /nsr might be a symbolic link.
3. If possible disconnect the Tru64 from the Network and rename the AIX
to the name of the Tru64
    If not possible, go to step 4 and then follow the procedure(s) in
the Legato document legato71241.
4. Install Networker server on AIX and point the Networker directory to
the just copied /nsr.
5. As the devices (jukebox and tapes) have changed, remove/delete the
old jukebox configuration as well as all tape devices.
6. Run jbconfig to configure the jukebox and its devices on the new
host.
You should now be ready to go.
