Hello Bernd,

We have also some problems with the backup of Oracle 9.2.0.6 databases thru NMO
4.2 on 3 clients.
The clients are Tru64 5.1b PK4 with networker 7.2.1.
Sometimes, the backup is stalled on a DB (not always the same) and when we look
at the process, nsrnmostart takes almost 100% of the CPU. The workaround is to
kill the process and after the backup complete successfuly...

We opened a case with legato, but they didn't found a solution yet.

We tried a couple of restore, and they were successfull.

The problem began when we installed 4.2

Regards,

Frederic Tremblay

Hallo,

we have a server and a client with Linux SLES 8 and NW 7.1.3.
The client has an oracle 9.2.0.5.0 database and NMO 4.2.
We restore a big database. For some time the client
reads data with good performance. But then some oracle processes are
looping and produce 100% CPU load. The read sessions are
frozen on the backup server and restore does not finish.
The restore behaviour was better with NMO 3.5.
Anybody experienced the same behaviour?

regards
Bernd
