Hello all,

I am trying to migrate my server to a new machine, so I naturally put the
newest
tape in the drive and fire mmrecov

What I get is most interesting:

output starts here <------------------

Scanning /dev/rmt/0hbn for save set 958406401; this may take a while...
scanner: scanning 8mm 5GB tape noc.551 on /dev/rmt/0hbn
/nsr
/nsr: file exists, overwriting
/misc/nsr/res/nsrla.res
/misc/nsr/res/nsr.res
/misc/nsr/res/nsrjb.res
/misc/nsr/res/
nsrmmdbasm: SYSTEM error: No such file or directory
uasm: asm nsrmmdbasm cannot be invoked or died unexpectedly
uasm: error running nsrmmdbasm, cannot recover file /misc/nsr/mm/mmvolume6/
/misc/nsr/mm/
scanner: ssid 958406401: scan complete
scanner: ssid 958406401: 7341 KB, 7 file(s)
mmrecov: SYSTEM error: No such file or directory
mmrecov:
Cannot Mount volume on /dev/rmt/0hbn

If your resource files were lost, they are now recovered in the 'res.R'
directory. Copy or move them to the 'res' directory, after you have shut
down the service. Then restart the service.

Otherwise, just restart the service.

output ends here <--------------------

It says that there is some sort of trouble with nsrmmdbasm. The nsrmmdbasm
executable is
indeed in /usr/lib/nsr so I cannot yet suspect what is the cause of this
trouble.

Has anybody seen this before?
Any help will be appreciated.

regards,
Athanasios
