Hello All;

I am at my wits end.

Whenever a savegroup (any savegroup) completes, I want to have TWO savegroup notification action take place.

One is

/bin/cat >> /nsr/logs/savegrp.log

which works just fine.

The other is

/usr/ucb/mail -s 'clienthostname savegroup completion' xxx.yyy AT zzz DOT com

which USED to work very well but now does not work at all.

I have tested the /usr/ucb/mail command on the Solaris box command line .e.g

echo "testing testing" | /usr/ucb/mail -s 'clienthostname savegroup completion' xxx.yyy AT zzz DOT com

It works! So it cannot be the command line syntax.

But the savegroup completion notification simply does not get sent out! And yet the local file /nsr/logs/savegrp.log gets updated correctly....

Is there a limit to the number of notification that gets activated when a savegroup completes?

Help? Please?

Warmest Regards
Steven Sim
