I have a client with a 2TB NTFS file system that is constantly changing. The
naming convention of the files is very inconsistent in that the names are
mostly a sequence of numbers and some files have normal names. As a result of
this scenario, we have configured the client resources with wildcards such as
D:\Largefilesystem\1*.* , ~\2*.* etc. and another client resource configured
to backup everything else (word named files)

The problem comes when we try to restore. If you just choose last nights
backup, you can browse the word named files but not the number named files. In
order to browse the number files (backed up with wildcards) you have to know
the exact time the backup completed and use that iformation to change the
browse time on the legato client to one minute after the backup completed.

Is there any way to get this so that you can browse absolutely everything that
was backed up last night on that filesystem? Legato has claimed that wildcards
anywhere other than at the root level is not supported. I am just looking to
see if anyone knows anything that can be done, supported or not, to resolve
this situation,

If you need more details just ask me and I will get it for you.

Thanks in advanced for any help!

Lou
