I'm used to having to add the networker server root account to the
remote access for a client in order to do a directed restore.

However going through the privileges in the manual the "Remote Access
All Clients" section says that it supersedes the remote access
attribute in the client.

Since root on the networker server is in the Administrators group,
and that group has that privilege, is this a bug (perhaps in the
documentation), or am I doing something wrong?

I note that later in the section on Access Permissions used in
Directed Recoveries, it suggests that the user needs to have both the
the all clients privilege and an entry in the remote access list
(pages 357-8). This is on a 7.1.1 server.

Should I be able to do a directed recover for a client without being
in the client's remote access list?

Thanks.
