Hi,

this morning i got the same problem also on a w2k server.
what i did was the following, uninstalled the old client software
and tried it again.
It failed again with the messages that there's on old installation
which has to be removed first.
I did that and the message still appears.
I tried to delete the nsr folder but before i had a few server.exe
running which i slightly stopped.

The installation then went fine.
Unfortunately i can't initialize an backup from that client and
from the server the backup aborted but don't know why.
