I haven't read this whole thread but I recognize the error as something I
came across a few months ago. What I found is that NSR was writing in (or
not writing in) 64KB blocks instead of 32KB blocks. Once I changed the
setting to 32KB chunks the problem went way. Check the NetWorker admin
guide for changing the size. I know in Windows NSR it was a environment
variable setting that I changed.
