Hello all,

I am having a very peculiar problem. I'm running 7.1.2 on RedHat AS3,
and am more or less doing OK. However, some save sets aren't showing up
right in nwrecover. For example, I can check my backup logs and see
this:

May  5 01:48:45 merlin logger:   griffon.ssc.wisc.edu: /project/SRIVAS
level=full, 1238 MB 00:02:57    138 files

May  7 21:12:18 merlin logger:   griffon.ssc.wisc.edu: /project/SRIVAS
level=incr, 257 MB 00:01:32    527 files

May 11 10:09:26 merlin logger: griffon.ssc.wisc.edu: /project/SRIVAS
level=incr, 27 KB 00:00:04      7 files

May 19 01:48:20 merlin logger:   griffon.ssc.wisc.edu: /project/ SRIVAS
level=full, 1495 MB 00:05:50    661 files

May 24 21:33:06 merlin logger: griffon.ssc.wisc.edu: /project/SRIVAS
level=incr, 526 MB 00:01:19 6 files

Jun  2 01:58:14 merlin logger: griffon.ssc.wisc.edu: /project/SRIVAS
level=full, 2021 MB 00:08:06 664 files

(merlin is the NSR server, griffon is my file server)

The files are definitely getting backed up (and have been for months),
but I can't browse them. I get "Unable to expand path" from nwrecover.
This problem went unnoticed by me for quite a while since recovers are
few and far between.

I ran nsrck (at various levels) on my indexes, and that seems to have
helped a little--recent backups of this and several other unbrowseable
save sets are now browseable. Apart from scanning in all my old tapes
manually, is there a way to fix my old indexes?
