Dear Andrew
Being dissatisfied with performance of "Backup to Disk" we finally
decided not to use DBO (Disk Backup Option). It happened the same in our
case, like you are experiencing. Can you please let me know details
about the disk devices you are using? We could write 2.5 TB of data
within 24 hours.

Performance can be tuned up by changing server/client parallelism and
device target session values.

We currently run Legato Networker 7.1.3 on Windows, i was wondering what
writing speed other people get when writing to disk as our full backup
runs
for 36 hours and writes 1.7 terabytes which is a writing speed average
of
13.75 Mb per seceond which i thought is rather slow, i thought to disk i
should get over 20Mb easy. Could people reply with there comments and
speeds.
