Re: [Networker] backup of named pipe using save

Hi Lukasz,
I think we've had a go at this one to do MySQL export backups, and the
way to do it is to use a directive to force the use of rawasm to save
the pipe.
# mknod /var/run/NSRPIPE p
Directive would be something like this
===============
<< /var/run >>
rawasm: NSRPIPE
===============
HTH.

Hello All
Does anybody know how to perform backup data using named pipe?
If I try to backup named pipe I can only backup explicite named pipe file,
but not data in it.
If I remember I should create a special file with information about the
particular pipe in the same directory where I start save command.
Unfortunately I cannot find any information about it either in my head
either on the web.
It would be great if you could help me!
Thanks
Lukasz
