first, i would thanks every people on this list for help in past.
Before buying a new release of networker, i'm trying to recover old
configuration (5.5.1 solaris 8)
in the past, some problems were due to changes in hardware, but now, i
can begin to recover backup server indexes.
mmrecover ask for some tapes, i put it, but continuously i saw:
May 19 11:55:25 mary2 root: [ID 702911 local0.alert] Solstice Backup
media: (critical) waiting for 4mm 8GB tape donnees.077 on mary2
but this tape is on!
in /nsr/logs/daemon.log:
05/18/05 15:17:59 nsrd: media event cleared: mount of donnees.077
cancelled by server
05/18/05 15:18:32 nsrd: media waiting event: waiting for 4mm 8GB tape
donnees.077 on mary2
How can i verify if this tape is usable?
