Hi,

I have labelled a tape that was used by another backup software ( EMC Data
Manager ) and when I run a backup; networker only 992KB and says the tape is
full.

What can be the problem here ? Here is the output from Networker.

May 9 22:36:53 dhpbck01 root: [ID 702911 daemon.notice] NetWorker media:
(notice) LTO Ultrium-2 tape 020298 on /dev/rmt/2cbn is full

May 9 22:36:53 dhpbck01 root: [ID 702911 daemon.notice] NetWorker media:
(notice) LTO Ultrium-2 tape 020298 used 557 MB of 190 GB capacity

May 9 10:54:22 dhpbck01 root: [ID 702911 daemon.notice] NetWorker media:
(notice) Volume "" on device "/dev/rmt/0cbn": Block size is 1024 bytes not
65536 bytes. Verify the device configuration. Tape positioning by record is
disabled

Thanks,

Ernest Naila
