-AFAIK, the closest you can come is to use Disk Backup Option to back up
to disk. Then - you can clone to two tape drives simultaneously.

Not sure you can do this.... I've been using these disk devices for a
while now and continually run into the 'one read only' limitation. Yes,
you can write to the device at the same time as you read from it but you
can only have one read at any one time. For instance, I can't stage data
whilst a clone is in operation (or vice versa) likewise with a restore,
instead of just going ahead it waits with the rest for a go at reading.

Some others on this list have pointed at possible O/S sleight of hand
tricks to allow this but that poses support questions.

Bob

You're talking about "tape twinning," where one backup stream is written
to two devices. NetWorker doesn't support it. I've been asking for it
for years, but they just keep giving me reasons why I don't want it. At
one point, the lack of this feature almost prodded a change to <gasp!>
NetBackup.

AFAIK, the closest you can come is to use Disk Backup Option to back up
to disk. Then you can clone to two tape drives simultaneously.
