Scenario:: Legato 6.1.4 /Solaris

I've got pool which is backed up daily and cloned after each backup and taken 
offsite. After few years it contains to many tapes (daily backup clones) 

I'd like to make another clone/clone pool from this daily clone pool  (e.g. 
only one backup per week)

What is the simplest and most effective way to do this?
