If you use the networker GUI and click on the "Indexes" button and look
at the client picard, what does it show for "Size" and "Used"? Are they
blank, or is there a size associated with the client index for picard?

If they're blank, what happens when you run

        nsrck picard

and then reopen the "Indexes" window?

Tim

Size and Used are both blank. nsrck picard gives:

nsrck: checking index for 'picard'
nsrck: /nsr/index/picard contains 0 records occupying 0 KB
nsrck: Completed checking 1 client(s)

Well, the `r' in `cr' for the flags for each of the savesets means that
the saveset is recoverable (*not* browseable). If you were to scan the
tape containing these savesets using the `-i' flag to scanner, they should
become browseable (and probably "scanned-in", too). You can test that by
scanning one or more of the ssids, if you want.

By any chance, is "Store Index Entries" set to "No" for the pool that
contains the tape MT0001? That's the most obvious reason I can see
why a full backup you just performed would not have browseable entries
in the client file index.
