Hi Guys,
Is possible install and backup linux gentoo with Legato NetWorker??

I am running NetWorker on Gentoo. I used rpm2targz to install the packages since I don't have or want rpm installed on my systems. The only issue with this was the startup script, it didn't seem to extract this. I copied the startup script from a Red Hat system and am calling it from /etc/conf.d/local.start and local.stop.

I currently have an issue using my DLT7000 drives with an Adaptec 2944UW card, but I'm not sure that this is particularly a Gentoo issue. My kernel is 2.6.10. The same hardware works fine when running Red Hat 9. Working on this issue. Certainly I have no problem running a NetWorker client with Gentoo.
