As it seems your system seems to be aware as well that something is wrong. Not
sure what... Can you involve library support? In system logs it says that ASC
code
posted was unique to the vendor so they might see what it is. Before that, you
may
wish to check if firmwares you have (drives, switches, HBAs) are all up to
date.
Those things can always drive you mad and leave you without backup for months
until
you find what's and where wrong. I also now see that serial number is repored
strange
for your drive (do you see it correctly when running inquire command?). Also,
check
your st patch version. Not sure what Solaris rev. is yours, but if 9 then
check with
"showrev -p | grep 113277" to see what patch release do you have. If you will
change
something (like applying newer st patch) make sure to save st.conf (as it will
be wiped
out by new "empty" one). Hm, I removed your first message... I believe you
were using
some st.conf entries, right? If so, SDLT320 is supported then:
strings /kernelr/drv/st | grep SD
QUANTUM SDLT600
QUANTUM SDLT320

If I missed the drive type sorry :)

Cheers,
H

        Hi H,

Always happend in « reading » on all drives in random. it doesn't look
like it was loding/eject. the 4 drives are on SAN on 2 HBA (2drv/HBA).
This is what I got from system log(/var/adm/messages) last sunday:

Objet : RE: [Networker] Drives disable when cloning

Which drives get disabled? Those used for reading or writing the clone?
Do those drives same same controller? Does the error comes during the
clone operation or during the load and label verification? Do you see
anything in system logs (including switches)?

        Cheers,
