In NAS Case it might be true , but In general the restore to mapped drive is
not working even if the mapped drive is windows machine . Getting error 5
no matter which login I use . ( Domain adminis account , local system
account )

Legato support also confirmed this more or less , they suggested we can use

recover -c 'client' on command line then add the files you want to recover
select destination as network drive .

This worked for me for atleast two files which wasn't working for me from nw
user GUI program .

Does anybody know if it is possible using legato ...

restore one client to second client's mapped drive which is in turn third
machine .

This third machine in my case is NAS .

I am sure there has to be a way to migrate data to NAS drive since this
restore can maintain ACL's of original files .

The source and destination storage devices are probably formatted
differently. Since NetWorker does not offer file conversion capability,
you can only restore files to like formatted file systems.
