I'm not sure how you'd pick a return code to give that information.

If these are components of a group backup, you could query the
'work list' and the 'completion' sections.  That would tell you which
ones have been done (and which are yet to do).

% nsradmin
nsradmin> show work list;completion
nsradmin> print type:nsr group; name:Default

(you can see the same thing in the GUI if you turn on details).
