What happens if you try to copy whole disk H to your server - what time do
you see then?
You can try to use scp (you will need ssh service on Windows client) or ftp
for that.  Make
sure that you run GET direction command from server and then try the same
with PUT from
client to server.  Compare those times with Legato.  If you still get better
values, run
the save from client in debug mode and capture the output.  It will give you
much of the
info, but some of that might give you the clue.

Btw, I assume you did tested that save from client does give you the same
poor results?
(sometimes you will find that having server or client initiated operation
will give you
different speeds; the reason could be from different NICs/switch port modes
to OS settings
on block size sent across the network).

Try above suggested and let us know of the results.
