When you say Day 2/3 will run a skip. Will it actually run? I have
savepnpc scripts. Will these run on skip days.
It looks to me that networker updates to next 24 hours on skip days,
without actually running anything.

Thanks for ur response,
-Balki

If you set the schedule to full skip skip full skip skip full for
example
the 24 hours is still vaild.
Day 1 will run a full
Day 2 will run a skip
day 3 will run a skip
Day 4 will run a full
and so on

ie every 24 hours the schedule is checked and run

I just did this. But the next start continues to show as 24 hours, and
not 72 hours later.

Thanks

Hi,

The easiest is really just going to be to setup a schedule to run
whatever level backup you want every 3 days and skip the other 2.

Yes, you will have to spend some time to create the schedule and to
select the days in advance - but this is real easy and quick. And it
will be the easiest to modify at a later stage should your needs change.

Regards,
Riaan

You are missing the fact that interval can be at maximum 24 hours.
To have it every 3 days you would need to script it in a way that
script would run touch some file and then run savegrp if file would
be older than 3 days (you can call that from cron). Witch schedule
in NW you could create (on monthly basis) that it runs every 3 days,
but by the end of the month and start of second one you would still
have backups that would be not 3 days separated away (but you could
probably live with that).
