Hi,

The easiest is really just going to be to setup a schedule to run whatever 
level backup you want every 3 days and skip the other 2. 

Yes, you will have to spend some time to create the schedule and to select the 
days in advance - but this is real easy and quick. And it will be the easiest 
to modify at a later stage should your needs change.

You are missing the fact that interval can be at maximum 24 hours.
To have it every 3 days you would need to script it in a way that
script would run touch some file and then run savegrp if file would
be older than 3 days (you can call that from cron).  Witch schedule
in NW you could create (on monthly basis) that it runs every 3 days,
but by the end of the month and start of second one you would still
have backups that would be not 3 days separated away (but you could
probably live with that).
