I have several unix boxes that have partitions which are not mounted at
runtime (ie /boot). Since they're not mounted, they don't get backed up. I
specify what paths I'm specifically interested in in my backup specs (ie
/etc, /home, /usr/local, etc) and adding /boot simply backs up the mount
point, not the contents (as I would expect). Does anyone know any tricks to
get unmounted partitions to be included?

If you like, you can set up a directive using rawasm to backup a raw
device when the filesystem is not mounted. It's not all that intuitive,
but it works.
